ABC has been gaining popularity in the U.S. and boasts the advantages of rapid construction, less traffic disruption, improved quality and durability, improved safety, and fewer environmental impacts. This presentation will introduce ABC to those who may be unfamiliar with this construction method and a practical guide to integrating precast concrete elements in ABC applications. The presentation will outline the current available documents provided by the FHWA and AASHTO to assist with implementation of this methodology

He worked 10 years for Armco Steel in Minnesota, 27 years as Corporate Engineer for Independent Concrete Pipe Company, and the past 7 years as Director of Codes and Standards for National Precast Concrete Association.
